Jimmy Abraham

Management Consultant

With a degree and a master’s in mechanical engineering, Jimmy possesses a highly analytical mind, well suited to the role of guiding organisations through change, system and process improvements as well as project management. Jimmy enjoys collaborating with diverse stakeholders across organisations to co-design approaches and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

Jimmy loves learning and is always seeking out opportunities to grow and keep his skills sharp. Currently, studying to obtain a Professional Scrum Master certification, his journey has also included gaining a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma, obtaining a Cert IV inProject Management and delving into Enterprise Architecture fundamentals to better assist organisations holistically across people, process and technology.

Over the last eight years of his career, he has worked in several different roles and in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, energy retail, utilities, business processing outsourcing and superannuation. This varied background has allowed him to experience both technical and non-technical aspects of business and project management which he now utilises in his role as a management consultant, again working across public and private sector clients within a myriad of sectors.

Jimmy brings momentum to every project and partnership he works on with The Project Lab clients. The consummate project manager, he brings clarity to scope, facilitates and manages strategies and champions consistency and efficiencies to deliver the best outcomes for businesses and their customers.

Since joining The Project Lab, Jimmy has thrived in an environment where consultants are empowered to develop their skills and take on new challenges, whilst surrounded by a team of experts and professionals ready to share learnings to collectively provide the best solution and value for his clients. Jimmy knows how to harness the skills and knowledge of the collective team, both on our team and our clients’ teams, to reach goals and find the right solutions.

Make it Matter

Having lived and worked in many countries, Jimmy followed his heart to Tasmania and then fell in love with the island he now calls home. With his partner, he has explored every inch of Tasmania and not surprisingly has developed a passion for hiking!

Our value of doing the right thing has always been a compass for Jimmy and he advocates for this in every aspect of his life, looking for solutions that will bring the best outcome and value for the most amount of people. Whether it’s learning new skills or exploring a new corner of Tassie, Jimmy loves to share his experiences with others and see them flourish.
