Thomas (Thom, with an ‘h’) is a Senior Consultant who helps organisations improve the way they work, deliver projects and navigate change. With more than 15 years' experience across higher education, government, emergency services and not-for-profit organisations, he brings a blend of expertise in business analysis, project management and process improvement to a wide range of complex challenges. 

Naturally curious, Thom enjoys understanding how things work and isn't afraid to ask questions when something doesn't make sense, particularly when the answer is "we've always done it this way". He has a knack for bringing people together, making sense of ambiguity and helping teams find practical ways forward. As a lean practitioner, he has a healthy dislike of waste, unnecessary complexity and processes that exist simply because nobody has questioned them recently.

Thom works closely with clients to improve processes, deliver projects and implement change. He enjoys helping organisations simplify complexity, whether that's improving a business process, introducing a new system, supporting a technology project or helping teams adopt new ways of working. 

Much of Thom's recent work has focused on digital transformation, technology delivery and organisational effectiveness. He particularly enjoys working at the intersection of people, processes and technology, helping teams improve how they plan, prioritise and collaborate to deliver outcomes. Known for his analytical thinking, practical approach and ability to build strong relationships, Thom helps clients turn complex challenges into achievable solutions. 

Make it Matter

A proud Tasmanian, Thom loves spending time outdoors and remains convinced he comes from one of the best places on the planet. Whether he's hiking, relaxing at the beach or planning his next travel adventure, he's happiest exploring somewhere new (especially with his sausage dog Susie by his side!). 

A passionate foodie, wine enthusiast and regular gym-goer, Thom enjoys lifting heavy things almost as much as he enjoys solving problems. His natural curiosity extends well beyond the workplace, and there's a good chance he's recently disappeared down an internet rabbit hole learning about something new. For Thom, making it matter is about helping people do things better through practical improvements that reduce complexity, solve real problems and make work easier for the people doing it.
